Austrian Romance from Hilton in 2013

Hilton has just set-up a very good package to enjoy your Austrian escapes throughout the year 2013.

It's called Austrian Romance and includes:

• Champagne and a romantic surprise in the room;
• Full breakfast for two people alternatively in the restaurant or in the room
• Candle Light dinner for two people in the hotel's restaurant on the first evening
• Further dinner (seasonal menu á la chef) are also included
• Free upgrade to the next higher room category upon availability

We checked the prices for the week-end extending the Valentine's Day (2 nights over the period 15-17 February) at the Hilton Vienna Danube: a total of 488 euro for a King Deluxe Plus room.

On booking.com, the room costs 398 euro (90 euro less), but that does not include the dinner on the two nights, the upgrade, nor the champagne and romantic surprise in the room.

Furthermore, if you book at Hilton, you would get about 20 000 reward points on your HHonors member card (when you register for the "Double Your HHonors" promotion). These 20 000 points will suffice to get a free room at some Hilton properties.
